"Focus" Fixed Tuition Plan

Effective Fall 2014, the University of North Texas at Dallas will offer an optional guaranteed tuition and mandatory fee plan for new incoming freshmen students and transfer students with 90 or less transfer credit hours.

All current undergraduate UNT Dallas students will have a one-time opportunity to opt-in to the new plan.  No continuing students will be allowed to join the plan after Fall 2014.

The new tuition plan offers students the opportunity to lock in their tuition rate, for a maximum of five years, instead of paying the regular tuition rate, which is subject to increase annually.  The FOCUS Fixed Tuition Plan ensures a total tuition and mandatory fee cost of $7,650 per year for 30 credit hours.  The FOCUS Fixed Tuition Plan helps students and their families plan for the cost of a college education.  The plan also provides an incentive for students to earn a degree in a timely manner.
