Test Proctoring for UNT Dallas Classes

Academic Support provides supervised test-proctoring for UNT Dallas classes.  Test proctoring is provided at no fee to the student.  (Individuals with Disabilities should contact the Office of Student Affairs for test proctoring).

Procedures:

  1. Contact the Testing Office at 972-338-1761, or Testing@untdallas.edu at least 72 hours prior to your desired test date.  Contact the office as soon as possible for availability as not all days/times are available.  The testing office is only open from 8am - 4pm M-F.
  2. Your course instructor should complete the Proctored Exam Request Form and submit to the University College.
  3. It is your responsibility to contact the Testing Office prior to the exam to ensure all the appropriate materials for your exam have been received.  If we do not have this information before you arrive for your exam, you will not be allowed to test.
  4. Arrive to the test 10 minutes early.  If you are more than 30 minutes late, you will need to reschedule your appointment. 

Test Proctoring for Other Institutions/Organizations

Academic Support provides supervised test-proctoring for examinations not affiliated with UNT Dallas.  Please, follow the following procedures to schedule your test at UNT Dallas:

  • Contact your institution, sponsoring school or agency to verify you can take your exam at a remote testing center.
  • Contact Academic Support to check the date/time of your exam.
  • The sponsoring school or agency should complete the Proctored Exam Request Form and submit to testing@untdallas.edu.
  • There is a registration fee of $35.00 per test. This fee must be paid at the scheduled date. The Exam fee may be paid by check or money order payable to UNT Dallas.
  • The sponsoring school or agency is responsible for providing the postage for returning the completed examination. If the school does not provide the postage, the cost becomes the responsibility of the student at the time of testing.
  • Exams should be mailed to University of North Texas at Dallas, Academic Support, 7300 University Hills Blvd., Dallas, TX 75241

On the Day of the Exam

  1. You will be asked to present a photo ID for verification (student ID, driver's license, passport, etc).
  2. You will be asked to empty your pockets and put belongings in a locker.
  3. Bulky clothing is not allowed in the Testing Center.  If you wear a coat or jacket, you will be asked to remove it prior to testing.
  4. No hats are allowed.  You will be asked to remove any hats prior to testing.
  5. Only materials specifically mentioned by the instructor on the Test Request Form will be allowed in the Testing Center.
  6. All exams are proctored. We maintain a zero tolerance policy on academic dishonesty.  The use of unauthorized aids or cheating in any form will result in the termination of the exam and will be reported to the instructor or institution.
