The United Greek Council (UGC) is the only governing council at UNT Dallas. It encompasses chapters who are nationally affiliated with international umbrella councils, such as the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO). The mission of the United Greek Council at the University of North Texas at Dallas is to promote unity and diversity among collegiate students through the ideals of multiculturalism, leadership, and education via community service and engagement within the Dallas Metroplex.

Brayan Ramos, President

    • Vice President of Chapter Operations (Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc.)
    • School of Education Senator (Student Government Association)
  • Bio: Brayan Ramos-Vallejo, a first-generation college student graduated from Sunset High School in 2014, and from El Centro College in 2016. Brayan transferred to the University of North Texas at Dallas in Spring 2017 where he will be completing his Bachelors in Business Administration. Brayan Ramos is a huge advocate for public education, and loves giving back his time to the community.

Terrance Empy, Vice President

    • President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated
  • Bio: Terrance Empy, a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Terrance is the first-generation college student out of his two siblings. Terrance graduated from Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy, a college preparatory, in the DISD school district. From there Terrance went to Cedar Valley Community college where he received his Associates Degree in Arts. Upon finishing his associates degree Terrance then attended Sam Houston State University but it wasn’t long before he transferred to University of North Texas at Dallas where he’s blazing his trail!

  • Bio: Vilma Trevino, a first-generation college student, Graduated from North Mesquite High School in 2014. Transferred to The University of North Texas at Dallas in the Fall of 2017 from Eastfield Community College. Majoring in Criminal Justice, and planning to apply and attend Law school after Graduation. 

Naide Hernandez, Programming (Sigma Lambda Gamma)

  • Bio: A first-generation college student, graduated from Sunset High School and am currently in my junior year majoring in Accounting. Other positions I hold are Finance Officer in Student Government Association and Vice President of Finance Operations of Sigma Lambda Gamma. I would consider myself a people’s person and an overachiever. I like to be productive and get tasks done beforehand while still having fun enjoying my youth.

  • Bio: A Political Science major, LaTerrance is also a transfer student from El Centro College and a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He is also involved with the Political Science Students Association, Black Students Organization, Pre-Law Society, the National Society of Leadership & Success, and more. After graduation he plans on going to law school. Getting into politics and actively involved in criminal justice reform.
