Joy Patton

Dr. Joy Patton is a licensed master social worker in the state of Texas and Senior Lecturer, where she is currently faculty in the Human Service Management and Leadership program. She has spent the last thirteen years training in the requirements of creating and delivering quality online education with human service content. Dr. Patton has worked in various community consulting roles including nonprofit training programs, grant writing, community needs assessments, program evaluations, and organizational strategic planning. Her research interests are online education, child welfare staff and parent training, children and families, trauma, and adolescent/family violence.
