Before starting the application process, you need to know that admission to graduate study is a two-step process. The Office of Graduate Admissions determines eligibility for admission to the University, and the academic department determines admissibility to the degree program. Final admission to the University is subject to approval by the Office of Graduate Admissions.

The University sets general admissions requirements for all prospective students. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the academic department.  Program admission requirements are often more rigorous than the general requirements. The faculty in the program to which you apply evaluate your application and make a recommendation to the Office of Graduate Admissions regarding admission.

You are ready to apply. Keep in mind that receiving a graduate degree from UNT Dallas will serve as a life-long resource. We look forward to having you join our graduate community.
