Carol Hampton is a chartering member of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.-Southern Dallas County Chapterwhere she is crowned to serve and currently serves as the Director of Operations. She followed in the footsteps of her deceased aunt, Olivette Higgs, where she was a lifetime member of the Prairie View, Texas chapter. Carol is actively involved with many of the TLOD committees and support all the initiatives of TLOD.
Carol is he proud owner of The Date Catering. A full-service catering and event planning company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. How I got here? Let’s just say, “it is only by the grace of God could something like this happen”.
Carol was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She has a BBA in Marketing from Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View, Texas.
Carol is a member of Concord Church in Dallas, Texas where Rev. Bryan Carter is the senior pastor and she is the co-chairperson of the Dr. E. K. Bailey Beaux and Debutante’s for Christ.
She was awarded the Accountability Award from Positive Influences, Inc. in 2019. This is awarded to individuals that are making a difference in their communities by example and being a leader in their field.
Carol is a proud supporter of St Philip’s School and Community Center and “A Friend” of the school.
She is the daughter of Franklin C. Maloney (Helen) and the late Lucinda Green Maloney. She has two sisters, Yolanda Joubert and Bina Maloney. She is a proud mother of Bobbye D. Hampton.
Carol’s favorite bible scripture is Psalm 27:4 “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple”.
