Miguel joins the University of North Texas College of Law with over 18 years of higher education enrollment management experience. He has worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration promoting STEM professions to underserved college students, Arizona State University’s College of Education encouraging teacher aids to earn teaching credentials, and the University of California, Berkeley managing statewide recruitment and marketing. He worked for Nova Southeastern University’s College of Law recruiting and maintaining enrollment standards when law school enrollments were in decline. Miguel joined Florida Atlantic University as Director for Enrollment Management supervising four enrollment management teams. Prior to UNT, he was Director of Marketing for Advertising Avenue utilizing relationship building skills to double the number of clients and increase company revenue two-fold.

Miguel is a native of Eagle Pass, Texas and veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Education. His desire to join UNT’s College of Law stemmed from its rich diversity and desire to bridge legal gaps in underserved communities.
