  • Dr. Melinda Schlager, director of CPI, and Dr. Rob Davis of the Police Foundation are co-authoring an article in Translational Criminology Magazine about CPI’s best practice training at the Dallas Police Department (DPD).
  • CPI is launching an “implicit bias” training program for the Dallas Independent School District’s Police Department.
  • The Communities Foundation of Texas approved a request for a $250,000 grant to perform an efficiency study of the Dallas Police Department. The City of Dallas is matching the grant funds.
  • CPI is helping the Dallas PD revamp its 36-week training academy.
  • CPI received $20,000 for a youth offender training program with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.
