When students arrive on campus August 21, 2017, they will have more space to relax, connect, and study between classes thanks to recent renovations to Founders Hall 209. Once a conference room, the space now holds a large sectional couch, big screen television, and a study area for students to use between classes.

Thanks to the university’s growing enrollment, students had outgrown their current lounge area, The Spot, near the Student Affairs suite. The Student Government Association made the request that more space be made available for students, and the university responded with the newly completed, student-friendly space.
