Fifty UNT Dallas faculty, staff, students, and community members devoted a day to collaboration and strategic planning July 18, 2017. The planning meeting is the third time university constituents have come together in such a way to set a path for success for the coming year.

This year’s areas of focus included an in-depth look into life behind the scenes at the university, and what UNT Dallas needs in the areas of staffing, infrastructure, and corporate culture to continue its record growth.

Specific areas that will continue to be addressed going forward include the university calendar, communication, culture, and community.

“We have made significant strides in the last few years, but success is never final,” said UNT Dallas President Bob Mong. “Dallas needs a great urban university, and that is the mission that UNT Dallas will fulfill.”
