Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the UNT Dallas Office of Student Affairs, is proud to announce the Unity Cupboard food pantry is now open and ready to serve the UNT Dallas family. The Unity Cupboard’s primary purpose is to lend a helping hand to the students, faculty and staff here on campus. The pantry not only provides food items, but also daily essentials like toothbrushes and hand sanitizer.

The Unity Cupboard is currently staffed and maintained by sisters of KDChi who have spent two years planning and organizing the food pantry.

There are several ways for our university community to get involved and give back. Donations are always accepted and extra helping hands are greatly appreciated.

Donation Examples:

  • Hand Sanitizers
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toiletries
  • Canned Food
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Beans

Students can access the pantry one of two ways. KDChi will host “Open Day” events when in students can drop by and select items from the food pantry. The first Open Day for the fall semester is August 23rd from 4:30pm-6pm.

Students in need of items at other times must first meet with a case manager from Student Affairs who will assign them a JagCard, allowing them access to the Unity Cupboard.

If you or a fellow student on campus find yourself in need please contact a sister of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc at: betapi.foodpantry@gmail.com. Students in need of support also are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Affairs at: studentaffairs@untdallas.edu.
