The UNT Dallas Urban SERCH Institute held its first town hall meeting on campus December 1, 2016 to discuss its current projects and how the university community can get involved. The presentation is available in its entirety here.

  • Suds of Hope, led by Dr. Priya Eimberbrink, Lecturer of Psychology
  • GrowSouth/Americorps VISTAs, led by Ryan Behring, VISTA Team Leader
  • Community Leadership Academy, Led by Lavern Stalians and Jarrad Carter, SERCH Fellows and Public Leadership Graduate Students
  • Mobie Fresh Food Market, led by Dr. Kelly Varga, Lecturer of Biology
  • YMCA, led by Dr. Janiece Upshaw, Asst. Professor of Public Leadership
  • Second Chance Improvement Program (SCCIP), led by Dr. Julie Siddique, Asst. Professor of Criminal Justice
