Teacher Education Program Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate Applicants:

  1. Submit your application
    1. Go to www.applytexas.org
    2. Select UNT Dallas on your schools list
  2. Submit your application fee
    1. $40 non-refundable fee
    2. Use fee waiver from your counselor OR a “True Blue” preview day
  3. Submit your official high school transcript
    1. Request your official transcript from your high school
    2. Submit your official transcript to UNT Dallas
  4. Submit your test scores
    1. SAT (UNT Dallas code 5999)
    2. ACT (UNT Dallas code 6366)
  5. Activate your student portal
    1. Go to my.untdallas.edu
    2. This portal helps you keep track of the admissions process
  6. Once you are accepted
    1. Enroll in classes
    2. Attend Orientation

Additional information for Transfer Students:

    3. Professional Reference Form
    4. Admission Essay

Graduate Applicants:

    1. $50 non-refundable fee
    2. No waivers are accepted with graduate applications
  3. Submit your official college transcript(s)
    1. Request official college transcripts from all school attended
    2. Submit official college transcripts to UNT Dallas

 

MEd in Curriculum & Instruction with Initial Teacher Certification:

  1. Submit additional material to the School of Education:
    1. Program Admission Application
    2. Faculty Recommendation Form
    3. Professional Reference Form
    4. Admission Essay
    5. Submit materials to Christine.Pruitt@untdallas.edu
  2. Interview: Once you have submitted all documentation, you will be contacted by the Certification Office for a Program Admission Interview.
