APICS UNT DALLAS has become a student chapter of the national APICS group- introducing UNTD student body to the professionals within the industries, career placement, direct link between student/company partnerships, internships, Job openings, mentorship, Educational, certification training/ resources- capacity building within the community and global optimization.

Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO)

A departmental organization focused on teacher education with ESL specialization. The purpose of BESO is to empower future teachers. The organization encourages students to attend conferences to aid in career and team development. The students serve the community and early childhood education programs in order to gain experience and expand their knowledge.

Biology Club

The Biology Club is the gathering of Biology majors and any students interested in Biology to discuss the field as a whole. The group is also interested in studying the different content areas of Biology that are offered in the Bachelors of Science in Biology degree plan, so that all students who are either Biology majors or taking Biology classes will have the tools needed to succeed.The objectives (mission) of The University of North Texas at Dallas Biology Club is to spark an interest in biology and the sciences to students of many differentlevels. Community service, teamwork, speakers, new scientific discoveries, and communication will allow students to enjoy and learn more about the aspectsof biology that are unattainable within the classroom setting. By attending Biology Club we hope that the students of UNT Dallas will strengthen their interest in the sciences.

The Criminal Justice Students Association is an organization designed to encourage students interested in criminal justice, as well as other interested factions of the University of North Texas at Dallas to share interests and ideas thereby supplementing and enriching our overall learning environment. The Association will assist in the expansion of programs of an educational and cultural nature which will serve the interests of the students, faculty, and administration of the University of North Texas at Dallas. In addition, the outside community will benefit from the existence of The Association at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Fabric of American Life

Fabric of American Life is a group of UNT Dallas students that advocate, educate, and empower our immigrant community to understand and fight for their rights. This organization supports the institutional mission because we are empowering our immigrant community in having their voices heard, transforming their lives through the attainment of a higher education, and strengthening our community by incorporating every culture to achieve both missions.

Finding Right & Natural Destinations (FRAND)

We are an organization that works to find right and natural destinations for homeless animals in the DFW area! We hope to be able to inform our community members on resources that they have available to them but are unaware. We do this because we want to make Southern Dallas a more accessible for our furrever friends to live in. Organization Mission Statement: To educate the South-Dallas community about the correct way of taking care of pets and help those homeless pets to find their forever home.  

Gaming, Anime & Comics Club

The Gaming, Anime, and Comics Club purpose is to provide a social gathering spot where members can share a common interest with other members and introduce new ones. It is an organization for members to make new friends and gain new fellowship for their time here at UNT Dallas and beyond. Mission Statement: a) To further promote interest in comics, anime, manga, movies and video games. b) To provide and create greater fellowship among students. c) To represent student needs and wants regarding comics, anime, manga, movies and video games. d) To provide a forum for the presentation of innovative ideas to the benefit of the University community.

Gay Straight Alliance

The goal of the Gay Straight Alliance of UNT Dallas is create a safe campus community, facilitate activism on campus, and create a welcoming environment for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. They work to create awareness and provide support.

Helping Professions Student Organization

HPSO is committed to the development and focus on preparing future leaders with the awareness, knowledge, and skills necessary to positively impact the outcome of communities in which they live and serve to develop a spirit of excellence in serving individuals, families, and communities. HPSO IS FORMED TO GIVE STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE THEIR POSSIBILITIES OF GROWTH IN THE FIELD WHICH THEY PURSUE.

Information Technology Student Organization (ITSO) is an academic and professional organization developed to foster learning, ideas, knowledge, collaboration, networking, and team spirit. The organization is directed to students who are enrolled or are interested in information technology and computer science. ITSO seeks to partner with professional organizations in the technology industry so as to build a strong learning capacity, networking, professionalism, collaboration, and mentoring for members. The organization serves the interests of the students, faculty, and administration of the University. In addition, ITSO will bring benefits to the community as part of an organization in the University of North Texas at Dallas.


Our main purpose is for every single one of our members to have fun and participate in one of our many activities. Our main purpose moving forward is to help build an organization which is quality focused. Lambda Alpha Epsilon (ACJA-LAE)

Upsilon Nu Tau Delta is a chapter of the national collegiate law enforcement organization Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE). Objectives of the association are as follows: 1. Improve criminal justice through educational activities. 2. Foster professionalism in law enforcement personnel and agencies. 3. Promote professional, academic, and public awareness of criminal justice issues. 4. Encourage the establishment and expansion of higher education and professional training in criminal justice. 5. National Society of Leadership & Success

The Society is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential.  Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.  In addition to honorable distinction, the Society provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation at their campus or online.  Upon completion of the program, members receive their leadership certificate and take their place among the top student leaders at their campus and across the country.  Members are able to list their affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including their resume. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., January 9, 1914, by three young African-American male students.The Founders, Honorable A. Langston Taylor, Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Honorable Charles I. Pre-Health Professions Club

The purpose of UNT Dallas Pre-Health Professions Society is to prepare pre-health students for entry into their respective graduate programs following their career at UNTD. Our goal is to enhance not only our student members’ likelihood to succeed in their health career, but create a community of like-minded students that inspire and challenge each other to achieve ambitious goals. To achieve this goal, we will use several methods. We will give our members opportunities to attend informative lecture-style meetings held by local health professionals, current professional students, and science professors focused on augmenting student pre-professional development. We also will provide academic resources such as study groups and preparatory materials for student taking graduate-level entrance tests such as the MCAT, DAT, GRE, etc. In addition, we will organize community service events and shadowing opportunities with the goal of enhancing student’s overall graduate application attractiveness.

Public Health Student Association (PHSA)

The Public Health Student Association (PHSA) of the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD) dedicates itself to supporting all students interested in public health academically, professionally, and socially. By means of education and collaboration with health organizations and agencies, we will promote positive educational experiences, encourage active community engagement through volunteering and experiential service learning opportunities in the field of public health, and fulfill our ultimate goal of fostering careers awareness and readiness for public health majors.

A professional organization for students who want to pursue a career in Human Resources. Students will learn leadership, organization, time management and communication skills. Students will have the opportunity to meet professionals who can help with networking.

Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter

UNT Dallas SHRM student organization actively engages in academic and community outreach activities. We do this through our volunteer projects and local professional organization involvement. For example, UNT Dallas SHRM promotes career readiness programs with local organizations such as Dallas HR and the North Texas Compensation Association (NTCA). We also offer students the opportunity to attend local and national conferences, participate in student competitions, attend workshops and invite professional speakers. Our organization encourages its members to be involved with networking and career exploration that compliment on and off-campus educational opportunities. The Trading Card Game Club (TCG)

This organization is all about trading card games and other card games that no one has heard of before. The Trading Card Game Club serves to not only teach newcomers how to play the game, but to help them understand why these games are so popular in the competitive scene. But we don't just focus on the competitive side as the club is more lenient on casual play, so that there would be more time to practice with club members, getting to know each other, have fun, and make new friends along the way.

UNTD Association for Black School Educators (UNTD ABSE)

We are an organization created to support the academic success of all EC-12 students; and particularly students of African-American descent. This includes support for African-American college students in the teacher education program, new African-American teachers, and all teachers and citizens that work closely with students of African-American descent. It is the mission of this Alliance to develop the necessary structures through which African American educators can meet and share ideas and focus on the unique challenges faced by African American youth and adults.
