APICS - UNTD

Academic Based organization for Logistics and Supply chain management overview- welcoming all business, analytics, economic development, project management career focused individuals. APICS UNT DALLAS has become a student chapter of the national APICS group- introducing UNTD student body to the professionals within the industries, career placement, direct link between student/company partnerships, internships, Job openings, mentorship, Educational, certification training/ resources- capacity building within the community and global optimization.

Archery Club

A club which provides an outlet, or introduction to archery with a focus on outdoor education.  

Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO)

A departmental organization focused on teacher education with ESL specialization. 

Biology Club

The Biology Club is the gathering of Biology majors and any students interested in Biology to discuss the field as a whole. The group is also interested in studying the different content areas of Biology that are offered in the Bachelors of Science in Biology degree plan, so that all students who are either Biology majors or taking Biology classes will have the tools needed to succeed.The objectives (mission) of The University of North Texas at Dallas Biology Club is to spark an interest in biology and the sciences to students of many differentlevels. Community service, teamwork, speakers, new scientific discoveries, and communication will allow students to enjoy and learn more about the aspectsof biology that are unattainable within the classroom setting. By attending Biology Club we hope that the students of UNT Dallas will strengthen their interest in the sciences.

CMI Oasis

Oasis is an Apostolic ministry that is an officially registered chapter of Campus Ministry International (CMI) which is a division of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). Oasis seeks to share the gospel of Jesus Christ on campus though doing Bible studies, game nights, worship services, social events, hangouts, food nights, etc.

Elite Soccer Association (ESA)

An organization devoted to offering students the opportunity to share their love of soccer with their peers. 

EMERGE

This student organization shall be known as Emerge at the University of North Texas at Dallas and will represent all education majors including all graduate and undergraduate specializations such as EC-6 Generalist, Bilingual and ESL, Special Education, Middle School, Secondary Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Administration, etc. The name Emerge is significant because it strongly identifies our group as being the student organization affiliated with the Emerging Teaching Institute at UNTD. The name also embodies our purpose (outlined below) of helping students build community and become the best version of themselves. The mission of Emerge is to provide each student a supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning.

EMPOWER

The purpose of Empower is to provide a safe sharing space for current graduate counseling students who are feeling alienated or marginalized as a result of their gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, immigration status, ethnic group, and/or age.

An organization devoted to increasing the education, awareness and community involvement of its memebers as it relates to environmental issues

Future Without Poverty

A Future Without Poverty works together with communities creating opportunities, providing resources and empowering people in a continual journey to eliminate poverty. Together we are promoting thriving communities globally with adequate opportunities for work, access to education, adequate healthcare, clean running water, nutritious food, comfortable shelter, and a hospitable environment where there exists a sense of security for everyone.  We are committed to working with the unique needs of each community, supporting that community as it grows in all areas of sustainability: Education, Enterprise, Environment and Empowerment.

Gay Straight Alliance

The goal of the Gay Straight Alliance of UNT Dallas is create a safe campus community, facilitate activism on campus, and create a welcoming environment for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. They work to create awareness and provide support.

Girls Helping Girls (GHG)

GHG works to better serve the needs and wants of young women in order to help them address problems in their communities and to teach them how to work together to develop solutions. This organizations ultimate goal is to empower young women across the globe by helping girls find their inner strength.  

Graduate Counseling Student Organization

A departmental organization providing networking and peer support for graduate students in the counseling program.

Human Services Leadership Organization (HSLO)

A special interest organization with a goal of enhancing service and leadership opportunities for UNTD students.

J.A.G. Mentors

A mentoring program that allows students to make frends within mentorship and have an experienced peer mentor as well as a faculty mentor.

Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc.

​On April 6, 1987, Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. was officially recognized at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. The Purpose of Kappa Delta Chi is to promote the values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity and Leadership among women at colleges and universities. Lambda Alpha Epsilon (ACJA-LAE)

Upsilon Nu Tau Delta is a chapter of the national collegiate law enforcement organization Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE). Objectives of the association are as follows:1. Improve criminal justice through educational activities. 2. Foster professionalism in law enforcement personnel and agencies. 3. Promote professional, academic, and public awareness of criminal justice issues. 4. Encourage the establishment and expansion of higher education and professional training in criminal justice. 5. Provide a unified voice for professionals in, and students of, criminal justice. 6. Promote high standards of ethical conduct, professional training, and higher education within the criminal justice field. 

League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States of America. Since its founding, LULAC has fought for full access to the political process and works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Our mission is to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States.  

Math Club

A special interest group, developing student interest and working to increase the number of mathematics majors at UNT Dallas.

Musicians Lounge

Club for musicians to play in and teach people who are interested in learning how to play an instrument. Purpose: To offer a safe and fun environment for students who wish to play different instruments together, and to teach those who wish to learn more about music.

National Association of Women MBA's

The National Association of Women MBAs defines itself as on organization committed to propelling women MBA students into leadership positions in business. The members of National Association of Women MBAs will develop and foster empowerment, of all whom will strive to:a.       Developing bridges to other chapters.b.      Empower development though quality leadership development.Offering resources and support through strong national network of business women.

Organic Gardening Club

Organic Gardening club- The Organic Gardening Club (OGC) of the University of North Texas at Dallas is dedicated to promoting organic gardening practices and helping families in need with our organic produce. By means of education and community outreach, we will raise awareness about the environmental and health benefits associated with organic gardening. We will use only organic soil and materials. The Club’s ultimate goal is to help promote sustainability and environmental consciousness in both the school and in the community.  

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., January 9, 1914, by three young African-American male students.The Founders, Honorable A. Langston Taylor, Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Honorable Charles I. Pre-Law Society

The purpose of the University of North Texas at Dallas’ Pre-Law Society (PLS) is to inform interested students about the field of law, law school (admissions and procedures), employment opportunities, and related events.Additionally, the Pre-Law Society is intended to provide assistance and guidance to students applying to law school, provide opportunities to share information about relevant classes and events, and enhance general knowledge about the field of law.

Psychology Club

Psychology Club members participate in social, community, and educational events. We strive to explore psychological principles in everyday life, and ways to improve personal well being. We also want to expose students to various content areas of psychology offered within an undergraduate degree, so that all students interested in psychology will have the tools needed to succeed.

Public Health Student Association

The Public Health Student Association (PHSA) of the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD) dedicates itself to supporting all public health majors and students interested in public health academically and professionally by fostering a positive educational experience and promoting awareness of careers and opportunities in the field of public health. By means of education and collaboration with health organizations and agencies, we will encourage students to actively become engaged in volunteering and experiential learning in the community. PHSA’s ultimate goal is to support all students interested in public health at UNTD academically, professionally, and socially.

SALUTE National Veterans Honor Society

The objectives of the organization shall be: a. To promote academic achievement of student veterans b. To provide fellowship among student veterans. c. To provide a forum for the presentation of academic success achieved by UNTD student veterans.

Spanish Club

The Spanish Club is an academic, cultural, and service‐oriented group on campus. We are dedicated to furthering the student body’s understanding of Hispanic and Latin American cultures through various activities both on campus and in the greater Dallas community. We also wish to provide opportunities for students studying in the Languages, Literatures, and Cultures department (specifically the Spanish section) at UNT Dallas to be involved in activities that expand outside of their classroom activity, but which relate and develop their learning in more creative ways. We also hope to promote cultural awareness and service opportunities on campus that will connect students with the Spanish‐speaking community that is so rich in Allentown. Most importantly, we hope that our activities will be fun and interesting way for students to learn and get involved, both on and off campus, in Hispanic and Latin American culture.

The P.O.N.G. Society

The P.O.N.G Society is just an official name for a group already present on campus. Our organization, is hoping to granted the title of being an organization, since we are the student body, we eat sleep study pong. I know many students have seen the table and the crowds involved in the tournaments, we are here to stay and expound on a shared love for P.O.N.G.The purpose of The P.O.N.G Society is to establish events related to ping pong, educate beginners, upkeep of equipment, and establish a hierarchy to ensure respectful use of the equipment.

UNT Dallas Alliance of Black School Educators (ABSE)

UNTDabse is an affiliate of the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TASBE) which is a state affiliate of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE).  We are a student organization created for the purpose of advocating for the success of all students; particularly those of African-American decent.  We support all educators and members of the community connected to the advancement of education; particularly those who are African-American or work closely with significant percentages of African-American students and/or educators.

UNT Dallas Basketball Club

An organization devoted to providing an opportunity for the campus community to engage in recreational basketball.  The club is open to all students.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded January 16, 1920, at Howard University, Washington, D.C. The sorority takes pride in its continued participation in transforming communities through volunteer services from members and its auxiliaries.
