mayor mike rawlings meets untd students

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings will join UNT Dallas President Bob Mong on stage as part of a discussion related to healthcare and mental health, as well as a planned clinic to be built near UNT Dallas, during the Best Southwest Partnership’s annual luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Duncanville.

Plans call for the clinic to be community-based as a service to residents of southern Dallas County – providing primary, mental and behavioral healthcare, as well as educational resources. Mayor Rawlings and President Mong will also discuss the Mayor’s commitment to southern Dallas throughout his two terms in office.

The Best Southwest Partnership’s annual luncheon will also celebrate BSWP’s 32nd Anniversary, including a ceremonial “Passing of the Gavel” from the 2018 Chair, Dr. Cynthia Mickens Ross of Methodist Charlton Medical Center, to the 2019 Chair, Mr. Alfonso Hernandez of Atmos Energy.

Individual tickets to this very special community event are just $30. Sponsor tables may be purchased for $350 (seating 8) and Special VIP Tables are $550 (seating 8).  A Presenting Sponsorship is also available for $2,000 and includes signage, program recognition and mention during the luncheon, as well as special seating with Mayor Rawlings.

The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be preceded by a networking session at 11 a.m. Reservations can be purchased online at www.bestsouthwest.org.
