The program goal is to provide aspiring principals with an opportunity to engage in collegial inquiry to apply significant principles of leadership through a robust, STEM-focused program experience. The students will leverage a series of academically rigorous curriculum offerings and professionally centered field study experiences that will prepare them as future STEM leaders.

Requirements

  • A GPA of 2.80 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher on all undergraduate work OR a 3.00 or higher in the last 60 hours is required for the posted baccalaureate degree
  • Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of credible teaching experience in one of the following districts:

    • Cedar Hill ISD
    • Dallas ISD
    • DeSoto ISD
    • Duncanville ISD
    • Lancaster ISD
  • STEM teaching and/or leadership experience
  • Educational Leadership Interview Process
