Planning Process

Our 5 Guiding Principles

Full Engagement

Foster an "all in" mind set.
The more people we engage in defining the strategic plan,
the more people will be involved in its execution.

Aspiration

Imagine what could be.
Challenge conventional thinking and what has been done in the past.
Expect to be surprised and amazed.

Strategic Alignment

Place our students at the center.
Ensure decisions align with our mission, vision,
values and strategic themes.

Focus

Make decisive choices.
Prioritize rigorously so we are clear on what we should do,
and even more importantly, what we should not do.

Iteration

Remain flexible and open-minded.
The strategic plan should evolve incrementally
each time new data or insights have been identified.
