The Trailblazers Care Pantry is an on-campus resource for students. The pantry offers non-perishable and perishable food items, hygiene products, and more to UNT Dallas students. The pantry also includes a Career Closet that provides clothing items to students to use for internships and job interviews.

What We Offer

  • Nonperishable food (i.e. canned goods, rice, etc.)
  • Perishable foods 
  • Beverages
  • Clothing (casual and professional, various sizes)
  • Pre-made bags and boxes for after hours

Care pantry usage

Where To Start:

  1. Visit the pantry on the sceond floor of the student center, around the corner from the speaking lab.
  2. Complete the intake form. All pantry users complete an this form at each visit. This form will provide us with the necessary information to help provide the best resources and options for using the pantry and any other on-campus or community resources. 
  3. Take a quantity list and a bag.
  4. Grab what you need and go shopping!
  5. See our pantry attendant on your way out for any questions, additional resources, and to check out.

 

Hours of Operation
The pantry is open Monday through Friday with the following schedule: 

  • 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. available by request.

  • 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., open to walk-in access.

If you arrive outside of our regular hours, please call 972-338-1816 for access. 

Students in need of food, hygiene items, or clothing essentials are welcome to visit during walk-in hours or request access during the morning block by contacting our office.

Donations

There are several ways that you can donate to the pantry, all of which greatly impact the lives of UNT Dallas and what we are able to offer.

  • Item: The Trailblazers Care Pantry is happy to accept any food, clothing, and toiletry items you may want to donate. We are currently working on a list of most needed items, which we will post here soon. 
  • Time: If you are interesting in volunteering with the pantry, please send us an email and we can help make this happen.
  • Contribution: There is no dollar amount that we actively seek when it comes to monetary donations. Any little bit can help us stock our shelves. If you would like to make a monetary donations, please click here.
