New Student Orientation is your official welcome to UNT Dallas! During your session, you’ll meet other new Trailblazers, connect with Orientation Leaders, and get to know faculty and staff who are here to support you. You’ll learn about important academic resources, explore student life opportunities, and gain a better understanding of our campus traditions and expectations. Most importantly, you’ll register for classes and leave with the tools and connections you need to start your first semester with confidence.
Orientation dates for UNT Dallas are announced in advance so you have plenty of time to plan. For Spring sessions, dates are typically posted in mid-October, giving incoming students a few months to register and prepare. For Summer and Fall sessions, dates are usually posted in early February. Once the dates are available, you can register for the session that works best for you.
