UNT Dallas students who are graduates of a Dallas P-TECH, with additional consideration given to Seagoville P-TECH graduates, are invited to apply for the Gagne Endowed Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. One (1) scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student for the Spring 2025 semester. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students (12 hours or more), meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards in effect at the time of any award, and demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance. Robert Mong Endowed Scholarship
Named in honor of longtime former editor of The Dallas Morning News and current president of UNT Dallas, Bob Mong, this new one-time scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to one (1) student for the 2025-26 academic year. To be eligible for consideration, students must maintain full-time undergraduate status (taking 12 or more hours) with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher in their collegiate coursework. Additionally, applicants must be graduating in May 2026 or later and demonstrate financial need. Additional consideration will be given to students who demonstrate strong writing skills within their applications. Please review the application for full details. The Dr. Donald E. Thompson and Kathleen Wilson-Thompson First-Generation Scholarship was established to provide need-based scholarships to UNT Dallas students. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours, meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards in effect at the time of any award, demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance, and include an essay of no less than 500 words. The Nicholas and Anna Ricco Ethics Scholarship is focused on ethical dilemmas encountered
by students and requires the submission of an ethics narrative within the application.
This scholarship is open to all full-time students in any degree program at UNT Dallas.
For students not in need of full-time enrollment during their last semester before
graduation, an exception to the full-time requirement is allowed. Multiple one-time

The Donna and Michael Williams Distinguished Leadership Endowment is a fund dedicated to providing annual scholarships for UNT Dallas students. To be eligible for consideration, applicants for this scholarship must be full-time (12 hours for undergraduate students; 9 hours for graduate students) incoming freshmen, transfer students, graduate students, or previous recipients of the award. Made possible by numerous university faculty, staff, and friends, the School of Education Touch the Future Endowed Scholarship provides need-based scholarships to undergraduate School of Education students in good standing at UNT Dallas who are accepted to their Clinical 1 or 2 semesters in pursuit of a Texas educator certification area. These certification areas include EC-6, LOTE EC-12, Grades 4-8 or others as added in the future. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have declared a major in Education within the School of Education (i.e. Teacher Education Program), a cumulative UNT Dallas GPA of 2.75 or higher, and a School of Education GPA of 3.0 or higher in courses taken in the Teacher Education Program. Additionally, applicants must have been accepted to and enrolled in the Clinical Teaching Program (either Clinical I: Methods or Clinical II: Clinical/Student Teaching. This scholarship was given by Professor Raj. J. Seekri and Mrs. Raj K. Seekri to honor the life of Professor Seekri’s father, Ram Lal Seekri, whose life was dedicated to education. The Bank One Texas Legacy Scholarship dates back to the earliest days of UNT Dallas. Multiple one-time scholarships of an amount to be determined will be awarded to multiple students. This endowed fund provides scholarships to first-generation students majoring in a School of Business program at UNT Dallas. Students applying for this scholarship must have graduated from a Dallas ISD high school or must have transferred into UNTD from Dallas College. Please review the application for full details.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the M&T Foundation Trailblazer Elite Scholarship opportunity is available exclusively to members of the UNT Dallas Trailblazer Elite program in good standing. In addition to meeting the specific requirements of the Trailblazer Elite program, eligible applicants must also be enrolled at UNT Dallas as full-time undergraduate students (12 hours or more), must demonstrate financial need, and must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in collegiate coursework. Furthermore, the recipient must be less than 25 years of age at the time the scholarship is awarded or be a U.S. veteran who has not been punitively discharged. One (1) one-time scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded to one (1) Trailblazer Elite program member for the 2025-26 academic year. This scholarship will be posted following the completion of the Spring 2025 semester. When submitting the application, cumulative GPA submitted must include the Spring 2025 semester.
