The Donna and Michael Williams Distinguished Leadership Endowment is a fund dedicated to providing annual scholarships for UNT Dallas students. To be eligible for consideration, applicants for this scholarship must be full-time (12 hours for undergraduate students; 9 hours for graduate students) incoming freshmen, transfer students, graduate students, or previous recipients of the award. The Bank One Texas Legacy Scholarship dates back to the earliest days of UNT Dallas. This endowed fund provides scholarships to first-generation students majoring in a program within the UNT Dallas School of Business. Students applying for this scholarship must have graduated from a Dallas ISD high school or must have transferred into UNTD from Dallas College. Please review the application for full details.

Made possible by numerous university faculty, staff, and friends, the School of Education Touch the Future Endowed Scholarship provides need-based scholarships to Interdisciplinary Studies undergraduate School of Education students in good standing at UNT Dallas who are accepted to their Clinical 1 or 2 semesters in pursuit of a Texas educator certification area. These certification areas include EC-6, LOTE EC-12, Grades 4-8 or others as added in the future. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have declared a major in Interdisciplinary Studies in the School of Education (i.e. Teacher Education Program), a cumulative UNT Dallas GPA of 2.75 or higher, and a School of Education GPA of 3.0 or higher in courses taken in the Teacher Education Program. Additionally, applicants must have been accepted to and enrolled in the Clinical Teaching Program (either Clinical I: Methods or Clinical II: Clinical/Student Teaching. This scholarship was given by Professor Raj. J. Seekri and Mrs. Raj K. Seekri to honor the life of Professor Seekri’s father, Ram Lal Seekri, whose life was dedicated to education. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students (12 hours or more), meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards in effect at the time of any award; demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance.
