College of Law Announces New Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

Cynthia L. Fountaine will relinquish her current positions at Southern Illinois University of Law this summer. During the past seven years, Fountaine displayed vast legal expertise in both of her Dean of Law and Professor of Law roles. With over thirty years of experience in legal education and administration, she will be an exceptional asset to the Dallas institution.
No stranger to Texas, Fountaine previously served as Interim Dean and also instructed classes at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law). Additional professional experience includes Washington & Lee University School of Law as a visiting professor, University College of Law, and Cincinnati College of Law.
Cynthia L. Fountaine begins her new position at the Dallas Law Center campus on August 1, 2021.
