- My old password is saved in my internet browser. What should I do?
To clear saved passwords in your browser:
Internet Explorer 7.0
- Go to the "Tools" menu
- Click "Internet Options"
- Go to the "Content" tab
- Click the "Autocomplete"button
- Click the "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords" buttons
- Click the "OK" button
Internet Explorer 8.0
- Go to the Tools menu (Alt + T).
- Choose Internet Options.
- Under the General Tab Look for Browsing History. Click Delete.
- In the Delete Browsing History window choose "Delete Passwords."
- In IE 8 select Passwords and Click Delete.
- Click Close.
Mozilla Firefox
- Go to the "Tools" menu
- Click on "Options..." at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
- Click on "Saved Passwords..."
- Click "Remove All"
- When prompted select "Yes" to remove all passwords
Google Chrome
- Click on the wrench icon on the top right corner of the browser:
- Click on "Options" from the drop down menu.
- Click on "Show Saved Passwords."
- Click on "Remove All."
- Finally, click "Yes" when it asks you if you want to remove all passwords.
