SACSCOC

The University of North Texas at Dallas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees. The University of North Texas at Dallas School of Education licensure programs are approved through the Texas State Board for Educator Certification administered through the Texas Education Agency. Contact the Texas Education Agency at 1701 North Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701-1494 or call 512-463-9734 for questions about the accreditation of the University of North Texas at Dallas.

CACREP

The University of North Texas at Dallas School of Behavioral Health and Human Services is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through October 2025 for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling M.S. and the School Counseling M.Ed. degrees.  Contact CACREP at 1001 Fairfax Street, Suite 510, Alexandria, VA 22314 or call 703-535-5990.
