The Application Process
The process takes two weeks to complete once the request has been received.
If your documentation does not meet all requirements, an ODS staff member will contact
you.
If your documentation is sufficient, an ODS staff member will contact you to schedule
an initial intake meeting.
Following the initial meeting, accommodation letters will be distributed electronically
to the student and to their faculty members.
The faculty members and student will acknowledge their receipt of the accommodation
form and this information will be stored in a program called Accommodate.
Completion of an Application for Disability Services includes:
Timeliness matters! Request your letters early, schedule your alternative testing at least five business days in advance, and schedule midterms and finals three weeks in advance. Request alternative text formats as soon as you register for classes.
