Biography

Jason Garrett serves as the Dean of the University of North Texas at Dallas School of Business. Previously, he was Dean of the McAfee School of Business at Union University and Associate Dean of the Foster College of Business at Bradley University. He has been described as an innovative, transformational, and visionary leader. His leadership has led to multiple millions of dollars of advancement, enrollment growth, new program creation, and the individual growth of students, faculty, and staff. Dean Garrett believes that business schools should contribute to the local economy. As such, he has closely interacted with the local community, leading faculty and students in developing projects that have contributed to thousands of jobs created in the region.

As an academic, his research focuses on business-to-business relationships and salesforce development. The research includes publications in the Financial Times’ top 50 journals and has been presented at the world’s premier institutions, including Northwestern University, Yale University, and Peking University, among others.
