UNTD Campus Groups
On campus groups include recognized student organizations, campus departments, faculty and staff committees. If you do not fall in either category, please use the external groups reservation process or contact Event Operations.
Submitting a Reservation:
To make an internal reservation for a meeting, tabling or special event please submit your request through our event scheduling system.
Request for reservations must be made 14 days prior to the event activity, if your event requires a special set up in a large meeting space event requests must be made 30 days in advance. The submission of a room reservation request does not guarantee a reservation, it only notifies the Manager of Event Operations of the request. Reservations are confirmed via a confirmation email sent from the Coursedog Event Management System or the Event Operations manager.
Catering
All events on campus must utilize ECI management to cater their event. Events where alcoholic beverages will be sold, provided or consumed must be reviewed by the Manager of Event Operations before being approved by the Vice President of Administration at least 10 days prior to the event using the Alcohol Use Request Form. Student organizations may not host events with alcohol.
Security & Risk Management
Prior to contacting security, all groups planning events at UNT Dallas are kindly requested to reach out to our Events Operations team. Adequate security measures are required for all events as mandated by the University. Typically, events with 100 or more attendees must have security arrangements in place. Additionally, events that involve elements presenting potential risks to the University are required to consult with Risk Management and attend a scheduled meeting to review event details beforehand.
Events Involving Minors
Events involving minors must be approved by Risk Management before the reservation can be confirmed. Staff, faculty, or students working with any program or event must have a current background check completed and successfully complete Sexual Assault Child Molestation Awareness Training before hosting the event.
Request for Audio Visual Equipment
Requests for A/V needs will handled separately by the IT Department after your event has been approved by the Events Operations department.
