Sex Offender Registration

 

In compliance with the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 62.153 any sex offender who is employed, carries on a vocation, or is a student at the University of North Texas at Dallas shall report that fact to the UNT Dallas Police Department not later than the seventh day after the date on which the person begins work or attends school.

In addition, any sex offender described above shall notify the UNT Dallas Police Department not later than the seventh day after the date of termination of the person's status as a worker or student at UNT Dallas.

The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains a statewide registry of sex offenders. Search by Name, Address, Zip Code, County or Institution of Higher Education using the Texas Department of Public Safety Public Sex Offender Registry

Registrants required to register with an Institution of Higher Education can complete the Sex Offender Registration Form. Both pages must be filled out and emailed to chief@untdallas.edu. Registrants may also obtain the Sex Offender Registration Form at the UNT Dallas Police and Parking Office.

**A list of currently sex offender at UNT Dallas is available for inspection upon request from the UNT Dallas Police Department**
