New Student Orientation

We continue to be responsive to the needs of our students and want to ensure that all student population types (i.e. Freshman and Transfer) can choose the most comfortable format for their orientation experience. NSO sessions will be offered both in an in-person and online format.

We encourage all new students to reserve a spot as soon as possible in order to secure their advising and registration appointment and to avoid any future enrollment barriers. Check out the appropriate New Student Orientation experience options below for further details. We look forward to welcoming you and your guests into the Trailblazer community soon!

NSO Experience

NSO is created with you in mind!  You will have the opportunity to meet other newly admitted students, learn about important policies and helpful resources, explore academic opportunities, and most importantly assure you will have a successful transition to UNT Dallas.

Academic Advising for all new students will be completed via your individual advising appointment. This appointment is scheduled and held outside the NSO experience. During this appointment with your Academic advisor they will be available to assist you in setting your first semester schedule!
