Mission
The Dallas Promise Scholars program empowers students as whole individuals through a caring, student-centered environment where scholars feel seen, valued, and connected. In alignment with Dallas County Promise and grounded in the mission of the Center for Socioeconomic Mobility through Education (CSME), we support scholars through intentional relationships and proactive engagement that strengthen persistence, promote college completion, and prepare students for meaningful, career-ready pathways that lead to socioeconomic mobility and community impact.
Vision
We envision a future where every scholar at UNT Dallas feels connected, completes their degree, and builds the academic, career, and leadership skills to thrive beyond graduation. Supported by aligned people, systems, and resources, scholars progress through seamless pathways into meaningful careers that foster socioeconomic mobility and strengthen the communities they call home.
