First Year Students (Freshman)
Submit by Feb. 4, 2026:
• Complete your Promise Path at DallasCountyPromise.org.
Apply by March 1, 2026:
• Submit your complete application to UNT Dallas through ApplyTexas.org.
Submit by March 1, 2026 (for priority consideration for Promise funding at UNT Dallas):
• Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and make sure to list UNT Dallas (042421).
Enroll by July 31, 2026:
• Register for classes at UNT Dallas for the Fall semester.
Other Important Information:
• Funding is limited, so admission to UNT Dallas and submission of all requested documents to complete your FAFSA/TASFA process is encouraged by the guidelines above.
• Students must have a family adjusted gross income of $65,000 or less, as reported on the FAFSA/TASFA.
Transfer Students
Apply no later than March 1, 2026:
• Submit your complete application to UNT Dallas through ApplyTexas.org.
• Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and make sure to list UNT Dallas (042421).
