Trailblazer Tuition Trust

What is the Trailblazer Tuition Trust?

Graduating high school seniors pursuing their first bachelor’s degree at UNT Dallas will have their full tuition and mandatory fees covered through a combination of federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships for up to four years (eight consecutive semesters).

Details

Award Amount: Full tuition and fees up to 4 years (8 consecutive semesters)

Eligibility:

  • Be a graduating high school senior enrolling at UNT Dallas in Fall
  • Be eligible for Federal Pell Grant
  • Be eligible for Priority Texas Grant funding
  • Have a total family income of $100,000 or less*
  • Be a Texas resident graduating from a Texas high school
  • Be admitted and have a valid FAFSA submitted to UNT Dallas by June 1

Deadline: Applicants who meet the above listed criteria will automatically be considered for Trailblazer Tuition Trust program. See renewal criteria below.

Renewal Criteria

  • Students are eligible for 4 years (eight consecutive semesters)
  • Students must remain in good academic standing and maintain a UNT Dallas 3.0 GPA in order to renew
  • Students must maintain full time enrollment (12 hours) in fall and spring to remain eligible
