What is the Trailblazer Tuition Trust?

Eligible first-time undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree at UNT Dallas may have 100% of tuition and mandatory fees covered through a combination of federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships for up to four years (eight consecutive semesters).

Details

Award Amount: Full tuition and fees up to 4 years (8 consecutive semesters)

Eligibility:

  • Be a graduating Texas high school senior enrolling at UNT Dallas the fall immediately following high school graduation.
  • Be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.
  • Be eligible for Priority Texas Grant funding.
  • Have a total family income of $100,000 or less.*
  • Be a Texas resident graduating from a Texas high school.
  • Be admitted and have a valid FAFSA submitted to UNT Dallas by March 1st.

Deadline: Applicants who meet the above listed criteria will automatically be considered for Trailblazer Tuition Trust program. No separate application is required. See renewal criteria below.

Renewal Criteria

Students may renew the award for up to four years (eight consecutive semesters) by: 

  • Remaining in good academic standing.
  • Maintaining a 3.0 UNT Dallas GPA.
  • Enrolling full time (12 credit hours) each fall and spring semester.

*Total family income is determined through the FAFSA. Financial need must be demonstrated through FAFSA eligibility.
