2023-2024 Housing Application Updates

Complete your housing application & join us on campus at UNT Dallas!

All Applicants

All students that want to live on campus must be admitted to the university to access the application. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to apply as soon as they are able to have the best chance of securing a space in our community.

*Important Note: A $100 non-refundable application fee is required for all applicants. Residents are also required to have a meal plan.*

Important Housing Application Dates:

First-year Students:

Applications Opens: Monday, 4/10/23
Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: the earlier the better

Returning Students (this includes all non-first-year students):

Applications Opens: Monday, 4/10/23
Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: Sunday, 4/30 by 11:59pm

Special Populations Timeline (includes student athletes, scholarship groups, etc.):

Applications Opens: In accordance with student classification
Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: Final Rosters must be submitted by Friday, 7/14 at 5:00pm

Summer '23 Housing:

Applications Opens: Monday, 4/10/23
Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: Monday, 4/24 by 5:00pm

Housing Assignment Information:

Your housing assignment will be based on residence hall space availability as well as your eligibility to reside on campus. Students applying for the Fall semester will be notified in accordance with the dates listed below. Once all spaces have been filled for the Fall Semester all remaining applicants will be placed on a waiting list and our team will fill community vacancies throughout the academic year from this list. Outreach will be conducted via the student's UNT Dallas email account so please monitor your student email for updates.

Assignment Release Dates:

First-Year Students:
- Friday, 6/23/23 by 5:00pm
Returning Students (this includes all non-first-year students):
- Friday, 5/12/23 by 5:00pm
Special Populations (including student athletes, scholarship groups, etc.):
- Friday, 7/21/23 by 5:00pm
Summer '23 Housing:
- Friday, 4/28/23 by 5:00pm

Completing Your Application

The on-campus housing application is completed via your MyUNTDallas account by selecting the Housing Portal. In order to submit a Housing Application, you'll need your EUID login and password. You can begin your application, save it, and come back to it at a later date if needed.

Go to your MyUNTDallas account
Select the “Resource” box
Click on “Live on Campus”
You will be directed to the Housing Portal to Log in
Once you have logged in, select the Academic Year you are applying for Housing

Once you have followed all steps in the application, your application will be complete.

Housing is limited and spaces are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Once rooms have filled, students will be placed on a waiting list and contacted once spaces are available.
