Christina Masso is a Visiting Lecturer of Law and the Center for Writing Excellence Writing Resource Specialist. She teaches Legal Writing III and assists students with legal writing assignments. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2000 and with a J.D. in 2003. While in law school she was the Managing Editor of the Texas International Law Journal. 

After graduation, Professor Masso interned for the Honorable Manuel D. Leal, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Texas. In her ten years of private practice, she performed research and writing support for complex litigation, managed corporate and healthcare-related compliance issues, and authored various corporate and transactional documents for public and private companies. Professor Masso has also performed developmental editing, copy editing, and fact checking services for novelists, nonfiction authors, professional bloggers, and educators for more than 20 years.
