UNT Dallas Welcomes Interim President Dr. Warren von Eschenbach
Dr. Warren von Eschenbach will serve as the Interim President of the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) beginning April 1, 2024. Dr. von Eschenbach will temporarily fill the position held for nine years by Bob Mong, who is retiring later this year. Mong moves to an Associate Chancellor position.

New Law Enforcement Training Center Coming to UNT Dallas Following Largest-Ever Gift
After years of planning and collaboration, The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) and the City of Dallas announced a generous $10 million grant from the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) towards a new Law Enforcement Training Center at UNT Dallas. The grant from CFT’s W.W. Caruth, Jr. Fund will significantly advance the design and construction process of the new police academy and represents the largest philanthropic contribution to UNT Dallas in the university’s history.

It was the first annual event by the law school's Joyce Brown Innocence Clinic to mark International Wrongful Conviction Recognition Day each October 2.

Spring 2023 Commencement Marks Record Number of Graduates

It is the largest in the university’s history, with more than 600 students earning undergraduate and graduate degrees.
