The University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law moot court team recently competed at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and the results were outstanding. Their hard work and dedication paid off when they won the Best Brief award and advanced to the break rounds of the competition, where they went 3-0 in the opening rounds.

The team consisted of Mimi Hoshut, Timothy Hettinger, and Adrien Lewis, all of whom performed exceptionally well and represented the school with excellence. They worked tirelessly balancing their school and work obligations to prepare for the competition.

The Thompson Coburn law firm supported the team, with Dallas Managing Partner Nicole Williams serving as head coach and Associate Kamran Anwar as the assistant coach. Williams has coached the team since its start in 2015.

UNT Dallas College of Law has established itself as a presence in the Texas Young Lawyers Association and ABA Trial Advocacy Competitions. Congratulations to everyone!
