Biography: Julisa Morones Luna is a sophomore at the University of North Texas at Dallas, majoring
in Justice and Social Policy. As President of the Student Government Association,
she is dedicated to advocating for the needs and interests of her fellow students
while working to create an inclusive, engaged, and empowered campus community.
Julisa is deeply passionate about justice, equity, and civic leadership. She plans
to attend law school after completing her undergraduate studies, with the goal of
entering the field of public policy. Her vision is to influence meaningful change
through legislation and reform that uplifts marginalized voices and addresses systemic
challenges. Through her leadership, Julisa is committed to driving progress—both on
campus and beyond.

Biography: Bettsy Grimaldo is a first-generation student who is sophomore at the University of North Texas at Dallas who is majoring in Justice and Social Policy. With a passion for legal services and advocacy, Bettsy joined Student Government Assocation to expand her knowledge and outreach. As Vice President for SGA, Bettsy plans on executing her role as Chair for the Programming committee with excellence. With a passion for true crime and theater, Bettsy plans on pursuing a career in the legal field with hopes of one day supporting students who have chosen the same path as her. In the next year, Bettsy will continue with her student outreach regarding campus concerns and potential initiatives. Alongside her running mate, Julisa, Bettsy will assist President Luna in executive endeavors including meeting with the President of UNTD, Deans, and other administration. She knows this year has a lot in store and is excited to further pursue a role in student government.

Biograhy: Paul Mascorro is a dedicated junior at UNT Dallas, majoring in political science. A proud first-generation college student, he earned an Associate of Science degree from Dallas College in the spring of 2024. Paul is an active member of Trailblazer Elite and the Greater Texas Foundation Blazer Scholars Program, which support his academic and professional growth. He previously served as a senator for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Currently, Paul is serving as the Parliamentarian for the Student Government Association, where he helps ensure fair and orderly governance while advocating for student interests. Passionate about civic engagement, Paul is enthusiastic about meeting new people and championing the causes of his community.

Adriana is a proud Presidential Scholar and McNair Research Fellow at the University of North Texas at Dallas, where their academic research focuses on understanding and addressing wealth gaps, particularly those affecting underserved and minority communities. This passion for helping others is rooted not only in scholarly interests but also in personal and familial inspiration—especially the political legacy of their grandfather, whose dedication to community advocacy has profoundly shaped Adriana ’s own commitment to public service.
Motivated by this foundation, Adriana had the honor of serving the general student body during the 2024–2025 academic year. In this role, they worked to represent student voices, advocate for inclusive campus policies, and strengthen the connection between students and university leadership. Adriana is also a proud member of the Trailblazer Elite Program, a distinguished initiative that supports first-generation college students in achieving academic success and developing leadership skills.
Building on these experiences, Adriana is excited to serve as the Financial Officer for the 2025–2026 academic year. In this capacity, they are committed to ensuring that Student Service Fees are allocated with the highest levels of transparency, responsibility, and responsiveness to student needs. Their mission is to promote financial accountability while supporting programs and initiatives that enhance the overall student experience.
Guided by a deep belief in service, equity, and empowerment, Adriana strives to use every opportunity to uplift others and help pave the way for future generations of student leaders.
