New Student Orientation Dates in June and July

If you are part of the next class of UNT Dallas Trailblazers starting classes in August 2025, be sure to attend New Student Orientation (NSO) in June or July.

Time for a Selfie at 2025 New Student Orientation

Orientation is an important first step your UNT Dallas journey. You will tour the campus, meet other students, get registered for classes and connect with UNT Dallas team members dedicated to your success.

It’s a great opportunity to see how UNT Dallas is committed to empowering students and transforming lives. We have lots of resources and services available to new students, whether you are a freshman right out of high school or a transferring from another college or university.

Parents and guests also get a tour customized just for them.

We're thrilled to kick off a new 2025 NSO season and welcome our newest Trailblazers and their families to the UNT Dallas community. Here's are the dates and times you need to know:

Freshman/First Time in College Students:

Thursday, June 12

Saturday, June 28

Thursday, July 10

Friday, July 25

Transfer Students:

Friday, June 13

Wednesday, July 9

Saturday, July 19

Sessions run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check-in opens at 7:50 a.m. in the Student Center.

New Students Listen to an NSO Session About Spending and Saving Money

We also offer a flexible NSO session for students eligible for online-only orientation. These students are registered for online sessions by the NSO team.

Virtual ONLY Students:

Tuesday, June 17, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, August 4, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Students are able to register for their NSO session via their myUNTDallas portal, or they can reach out to the NSO team. Remember, orientation is a requirement for all incoming Trailblazers.
