Common Intellectual Experiences

What Are Common Intellectual Experiences?

Common intellectual experiences engage students in shared learning through common courses, themes, readings, questions, or experiences that connect students across programs or disciplines.

Why Focus on Common Intellectual Experiences?

These shared experiences create a common foundation for learning, strengthen students' sense of belonging, and encourage interdisciplinary thinking about important questions and challenges.

Note: Resources are in process of development. Contact CITL if your program is exploring this High-Impact Practice
