The Ignite Leadership Retreat is an annual, off-campus leadership development program that happens during the fall semester. Students who participate will learn about personal responsibility, teamwork, and communication while enjoying hands-on experiences to evolve as leaders.
The retreat takes place at Camp Cho Yeh in Livingston, Texas (around the Houston area). We will leave campus around 12:00 p.m. on a Thursday and will return to campus around 12:00 p.m. on a Sunday. You must ride on the charter bus to and from the camp location. You are not allowed to drive yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to email james.ragland@untdallas.edu.
Registration for the 2023 Ignite Leadership Retreat will open in the Fall 2023 semester.
Sparks are student leaders who have participated in a previous Ignite Leadership Retreat. These leaders will be in charge of a group of students throughout the trip. They will aid them in group actvities, be a team lead during facilitator-lead sessions, and make sure their groups are getting the most out of their experience.
Spark registration will open in the Fall 2023 semester.
