What Is Brainfuse?
Brainfuse is UNT Dallas' supplemental tutoring program; it is a free online tutoring resource for all registered UNT Dallas students. Brainfuse provides online academic tutoring services through Live Help tutoring sessions in a wide range of subjects within their field of study including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Accounting, Writing, Reading, Statistics, Spanish, and other subjects. They also offer Writing Lab where you can submit your papers. With Brainfuse, you can:
- Receive Instant Tutoring and interact with a live tutor
- Submit Your Writing to our Online Writing Lab for a review
- Submit a Question and receive a reply from a tutor
- Personalized Skills Building & Test Prep in college readiness, college subjects, Accuplacer, and GRE
- Create your own flashcards and online quizzes/games to reinforce classroom learning
- Use eParachute to discover your strengths and unique talents to map out your future career
- Form online study groups or schedule live sessions with peers/faculty instructors using the Meet collaborative whiteboard (audio capable)
- Record and email live tutoring sessions and video notes
Live Tutoring is typically available 24/7 during the school year, and sessions are conducted within a virtual whiteboard environment, which provides real-time collaboration. Prescheduled sessions are available and offline questions also are accepted for response within 24 hours. If you don’t see your specific subject or if you feel the subjects offered don’t fully cover what’s being addressed in your assignment, you can type keywords in the search bar. Brainfuse will attempt to match you to the tutor best tuned to your area of need.
